Nathalie is a doctoral candidate in Educational Technology at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. Her research focuses on maker education and the benefits DIY, design, and maker activities have for student learning and the development of STEM concepts and 21st century skills.
Nathalie is currently researching how schools can optimize conditions to facilitate teachers’ use of maker- and design-based pedagogues. Nathalie is a certified teacher (Pre-K to Grade 6) and has taught at a variety of levels ranging from kindergarten to university. Her teaching specialties are maker education and mathematics.
