Sivime El Tayeb El Rafei
Sivime, whose name means “Beloved” in French, holds a Master’s degree in French Linguistics, a DESS, and a Master’s in Educational Technology. She is currently a doctoral student in the Educational Technology program.
With over 20 years of teaching experience, she has been an educational advisor at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Lebanon since 2012. In collaboration with colleagues, she contributed to the implementation of ministry projects, including supporting teachers in integrating ICT into their classroom practices and training teaching staff and educational advisors in the use of digital tools.
She also served as a language coordinator and administrative coordinator at the Language Office of the Lebanese University.
Currently, she is completing a DVP internship at FESP. Additionally, she works as a research assistant on the Mind-AID project, which supports caregivers of individuals living with neurocognitive disorders.
Her main interests lie in educational technology, particularly instructional design, new learning modalities, innovative teaching approaches, artificial intelligence, and especially virtual reality.
