Jean-François Racine
Jean-François Racine has enrolled in the Diplôme d’Études Supérieures en Technologie Supérieure at Université Laval. Besides, he holds a doctorate in theology from the University of St. Michael’s College within the University of Toronto as well as a master’s and a baccalaureate’s degrees from Université Laval in this discipline. He was also a professor at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi and at Santa Clara University where he was appointed as an associate academic dean.
Early in his career, Racine developed a passion for distance education as a way to provide access to higher education to those who cannot attend courses on university campuses because of commuting distances and conflicting schedules. The environmental cost of long commutes within the context of the current ecological crisis has increased his interest in this delivery mode.
