Edgard Casimir
Edgard-Casimir Lalo-Sayo is a Ph.D student in educational technology at Laval University.
Passionate about education and technological innovation, he completed a bachelor’s degree at Laval University in multidisciplinary fields that combine physics engineering (major in telecommunication) and entrepreneurship in SME management. He also holds a master’s degree in educational science from TÉLUQ university.
He works at the professional level as an associate fibre-optic network manager, trainer and resource person in the access and management department of fibre-optic networks for Ontario companies at Bell Canada.
Committed to social support, leadership and community solidarity, he is a director member of the board of directors of CAH (Centres d’Accueil Héritage), an organization that helps Francophone seniors in Toronto to cope with everyday struggles. (Commuting, affordable housing, learning, health, food, accommodation, etc.).
His doctoral study project focuses on researching a technological and innovative approach to combat cybercrime and deepfakes using artificial intelligence.
